Workshop organised by the area of Institutional Funding in the context of the InES programmes funded by MINEDUC.

A key objective of the workshops was to work directly with representatives from ST&I centres, academics, local department officials and entrepreneurs working in start-ups and innovation-led companies to develop methods to improve ST&I centre strategy and performance. The workshops included international experts speaking on planning, establishment and managing of ST&I centres.
|Santiago, April 2016. Camnexus signed an important agreement of collaboration with the Chilean National Mining Corporation, Empresa Nacional de Minería (ENAMI). The MoU agreement sets the framework of collaboration on future projects, with a major focus on to promote the development of technological studies and projects for ENAMI's operations, focused on the optimisation and modernisation of operations, energy efficiency and water efficiency, through the exchange and transfer of technological knowledge. |
ENAMI supports small and medium sized mining companies by providing facilities, funding support and help to access new markets.
The signature of the MoU took place in the Expomin 2016 (the XIV World Mining Exhibition and Congress for Latin America), Santiago, Chile, with the presence of the Chilean Ministry of Mining, Ms Aurora Williams; the national director of the National Service of Geology and Mining, Mr Rodrigo Álvarez; fiscal of ENAMI, Mr Patricio Cartagena; and the director of commerce and investment of UKTI, Mr Trevor Hines.
